U7/U8 Rec to Comp Program

Spring Program Registration Now Open

EDHSC is offering a Rec to Comp Pathway program to expose players who want to experience the comp environment this Spring.

The clinics will start on February 17th and run for four weeks, with four sessions guaranteed.

Each session will be sixty minutes long and ran by our Director of Youngers - Glenn Shepherd and our EDHSC Pro Trainers.

Please see the schedule below for dates and age group time slots.

Players will get the opportunity to participate in an environment that resembles an EDHSC comp training experience, where they will learn and practice a variety of soccer skills that they would use in a real game environment with COVID safety protocols in place. Topics will include ball control and familiarization, ball striking and shooting, passing and receiving, and game awareness activities.

The Clinic will be designed to:

  • Maximize fun and engagement
  • Maximize the number of touches and repetitions
  • Experience an environment that resembles an EDHSC Comp Player

Please have your player bring enough water (no sharing will be allowed) and have the appropriate gear: Cleats, shin guards and a soccer ball.
